In a breakthrough against terrorism, Indian security forces successfully eliminated three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, including the mastermind behind the deadly Pahalgam attack that shook Jammu & Kashmir in April 2025. The main target was Suleiman Shah, also known as Hashim Musa Fauji, a top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba and the prime accused in the April 22 Pahalgam massacre, which killed 26 innocent civilians.

Interestingly, the operation took place on Sawan’s third Monday, a sacred day for Lord Shiva worshippers. The name “Mahadev” symbolizes the third eye of Shiva—associated with destroying evil—aligning the mission with India’s spiritual and cultural identity.
